Although the battery pack reduces trunk space, BMW performed a cool packaging trick that allows you to create a recess and more space at the back of the trunk by moving one of the panels. Inside it has one of the top cabins in the class, with a driver-oriented cockpit, soft leather surfaces, and tons of room. The exterior of the 740e is elegantly minimal, with no extraneous character lines and, apart from the subtle badging and charging port, it's difficult to tell that this is the hybrid version of the 7 Series. With a $995 destination charge, the total sticker price came to $99,845.
